Decorate Your Bedroom With Minimal Budget!

"Because I'm Happy, clap along if you feel like a room without a roof~
Because I'm Happy, clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth"

Hey guys. I'm very happy right now..because the mid-term break has just started..!!! And here I am at home! Sitting in my bedroom, yaayyyy~~ Or maybe not very happy because I've got a lot of works to submit right after this break ends. (Siot)

Okay for the entry today, I wanna talk about my bedroom (again, haha). First I wanna say how much I love to stay in my bedroom as it is the most perfect place for me to be alone with completely 100% privacy and 'freedom?' (maybe, lolss)

So, if you guys were also having this 'close relationship' with your own bedroom like me (lol), so why not you try to decorate your room so that it will look more stunning and lively. You don't need to spend a lot of money on decoration. Just a few simple ideas will turn your plain boring bedroom to something more interesting. What you need is being creative and started to think what can you create by using the objects around you

Just use the wasted things like cans, bottles, or maybe some unused flowers that your mom doesn't want anymore...Anything that you can find around you. For tools, I would suggest you to buy from store like Mr. D.I.Y. Maybe you want to find some ribbons, spray, or scissors and needles...Oh God, I love this shop so much~ I always go here if I want to find some tools or stuff for crafting. The prices are very reasonable, and it has so many choices. Besides Mr. D.I.Y, I suggest you to go to Daiso which it also provides you with a lot of tools for creative hobbies. But, sincerely I think that Daiso's prices are a bit expensive..so yeah, I don't really go there (I will always find the cheapest..hahakk)

Since we don't have wide craft and art shops like Michael's here, so I think that Mr. D.I.Y and Daiso would be the perfect place to find tools or craft supplies..and since they have a lot of branches all over Malaysia..so everyone can go there and do some shopping. If you live around KL and Shah Alam, I remember there are few shops that supply these art things like Master Art in Sek.2, Shah Alam. However, if you're living in other states, just try and look at Mr. D.I.Y and Daiso or any other stationary shops near you. Other option is, try to look at shops that supply 'barang hantaran', they also have these kinds of crafting materials. Or else, you can try go to "kedai dua ringgit" or in US they called as "dollar store". They are stores that provide variety items like household supplies, decorative items and many more.

So now, I will show you...

Idea #1! - Handbag Organizer Shelf

I bought the board holder (err, I don't know what is the right name for that white things), haha. Since I have a few handbags, around six or seven...and I think it's quite a lot~ So, I need a proper place to keep them. If I place them in a box or maybe any kind of storage, it will be difficult to reach them especially when I got to rush. So, this shelf is very suitable to put the handbags or any other things you have and make them look more organize.

There's a lot of board holder sold in Mr. D.I.Y. The one that I bought is a bit expensive, it costs RM8.90 each. I bought two of them, so the total is RM17.80. Most of board holders in Mr. D.I.Y come in a pair. I don't know why this one is sold separately.

But, don't worry..because there are a lot of board holders at Mr. D.I.Y in other designs..and the prices are few times cheaper. You can go there and search them

These are the other board holders you can find from Mr. D.I.Y, the left one price only RM2 per pair, and the right one price about RM4 per pair

For the board, I just use the unused board from old cabinet at my house..which my mum put in our storeroom.. the original color is brown, because I want it to be in white, so I just paint it with white paint

Idea #2 - Handmade Pom Pom!

I think pom pom is a very cute decoration for bedroom. I think it's quite expensive to buy it from stores..but no worry because we can just simply made it ourselves. Go on Youtube, and search for "DIY Pom Pom Tutorial"..and you just need to follow the steps in the tutorial. It's really simple, trust me..I've tried. What you need is only yard and a piece of cardboard.

"It's so fluffy!! I'm gonna die!"

Idea #3 - Flower Crown on Wall Clock!

Boring with the look of your clock?  Just put some flowers on! It looks ten times cuter than usual! >_<

For this d.i.y, I just steal..err I mean, I just 'take' some flowers that my mum doesn't used anymore...(emm, I guess she doesn't want them anymore..maybe...Lolss)

Idea #4 Cool Frame for Your Wall!

Do not know what to do with the old magazines? Don't throw them away...because before you send those magazines to recycle center, cut out a few cool pictures and arrange them in any frame you have at your house. I suggest you to get a big size frame, maybe in A3 size...I think A3 is just perfect for this wall decor idea. Because I don't have any magazine, so I just print out a few vintage pictures which I had in my computer. This wall decoration is simple, yet stylish and very easy to make

Idea #5 - Make Your Own Vase!

I bought the roses at dollar store, but I don't have any idea where I'm gonna put them since I don't have any vase..haha. So, why don't I just make one? I know that at our home, our moms used to keep so many jars. We bought Prego, Horlick, or any thing that comes in a jar. At the end, we just throw them away because there're just too much of them and we don't know what we gonna do with the jars since the contents inside are already run out.

Here is the tips. Instead of putting in fighting fish or biskut raya (cookies), or decorate it with colorful sands, you can also change the jar into a pretty vase. I supposed to spray more layer on my vase with pink spray, but it just don't turn well..haha. Maybe because I don't know the right technique, spraying on a glass or maybe because the spray that I used is not a good quality one. But still, I'm quite satisfied with the look after I put in my roses. I also put some stuffing to cover up the inside view of the jar

Besides jar, you can also use the wasted creamer can or tin like I use in above picture. However, be very careful because those cans might be very sharp..and make sure you will not accidentally hurt yourself

You can decorate your own jar or can in any way that you want. It's totally your freedom. You can use sand, or put some marbles or stones. Anything..as long as you love the final look

Idea #6 - Motivation Quote on a Tray?

I know it sounds weird, what does that mean? Motivation quote on a tray? Okay, let me explain. This round plate that you guys see in this picture is actually a silver tray..haha. Seriously guys, I'm not lying. It's not a paper plate or what so ever, it is indeed...a 'tray'.

Since my mom doesn't want to use it anymore, so I take it from our storeroom and spray with white paint. (I just can't resist the combination of blue and white, lol). And I just pick any random word, and for this wall decor idea, I choose a simple but really meaningful quotes which I love so much.."Today, I choose to be happy".

I decorate a bit more by adding a donut plushie and some fake leafs. You can decorate in any design that you like. I think you guys can do a better job than mine..haha. When I'm doing this, I actually run out of idea..and I just don't really like how my tray of motivation look like. But, I think it still looks okay...yeah, (maybe) -_-'

Okay, I think that's all 6 ideas that I would love to share with everyone. Since my room is really small, so I don't really get many space to put more decoration. You know, If you put too much, it might looks crowded and messy. I will share more ideas in the future...so keep reading guys! Thank u so much for your time..and I love YOU! <3

For anybody that might being curious of how would my bedroom really looks like. So here is the full view. ^^
